Merchant Adventurers’ Hall

Built in 1357, the Merchant Adventurers' Hall is one of York's Medieval marvels. Explore the fascinating history of this building through interactives, learning sheets and pre-booked Guided Tours. Tours can be adapted to cover curriculum topics such as Tudor and Medieval History, Geography, Citizenship and many more.

This is our first time in York and our first attraction visited. Very impressed with the architecture-well worth the admission charge!
