Mansion House

A school visit to Mansion House offers a special opportunity to learn more about one of the oldest houses in York, as well as being a valuable cross-curricular learning experience.

The educational experiences revolve around 'Meet the Mayor' citizenship and the role of the lord Mayors. 'You rang my Lord', the experience of life above and below stairs in a Georgian house. 'Jane Austen dance workshops', educational and exercise in one of York's grandest ball rooms.
