Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Water Gardens

Our World Heritage Site has magnificent Cistercian abbey ruins, a beautiful landscaped Georgian water garden, and acres of countryside including a medieval deer park. School groups can - experience a monk's life through a robed guided session; explore the Abbey surroundings through a sensory trail; encounter minibeasts and mammals; take part in art workshops, Tudor theatre, and customer care workshops. What a Great day!    

Fountains Abbey is a fantastic place. We visited with a group of Italian students who are studying sustainable tourism. We had a very informative talk from Teresa Brooke and a lovely lunch followed by a walk around Fountain's Abbey and Studley Royal. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
