Get Closer to Wildlife! With over 250 species of animal including Giraffe, Lions, Rhino, Zebra… to name a few, in beautiful spacious parkland and Gardens. Our educational talks take place outside and are for all key stages. We also have 3 classrooms that can be hired. We have big lawns and shelters for picnics.
Our new Giraffe walkway lets you get eye-to-eye with these amazing creatures, or you can walk amongst lemurs in our Madagascar exhibit. Ride on the railway around the Park or climb the tree house in the adventure playground. Take a picnic and watch the Rhinos and Zebras or enjoy lunch in the Oak Tree Restaurant. Groups can book our Brass Rubbing room. It’s wheelchair and pushchair friendly with disabled facilities and 99% accessibility.
Talks for KS1-4 include: Caring for animals, Touch Table, Caring for Animals, World of Plants, Classification, African Animals, Rainforests, Conservation, Reptiles, Primates, Animals of Extreme Enviroments, Living Things, The Park as a Business, Science in the Workplace, Conservation and breeding of endangered species and Enclosure Design. We can do a range of bespoke tours and talks for Further and Higher Education colleges. Our talks are free between Sept-March.

MG Car Rally

Many different models of the MG marquee will be turning up at the Cotswold Wildlife Park on the 27th of May. This annual event, the 14th held at this fabulous venue by the Oxfordshire MG Owners Club, will see approximately 350 MGs appear on the day to take part in the largest MG gathering in Oxfordshire. There is free access to the MG event for all those visiting the Wildlife Park that day.
Lemur Week

To highlight our Lemur conservation projects here at the Cotswold Wildlife Park we are pleased to announce our first Lemur Week. There will be a variety of Lemur based events during the week.
Throughout the week there will be Lemur talks by our knowledgeable Keepers and lots of other activities in aid of Lemur conservation projects, check events board when you arrive.
Take part in the Lemur Trail - For a £1 donation to our Lemur Conservation projects in Madagascar, find Lemur facts around the Park, which spell out a word, then collect your wristband in the shop, to help save these endangered animals in the Wild.
Get creative and enter our drawing competition – send your drawings/paintings of Lemurs into the Park to win a Lemur encounter and family tickets to the Park. Post to CWP, Burford, Oxfordshire, OX18 4JP by 8th June 2012. Don’t forget to write your name and contact details on the back.
Dressing Up competition for children up to the age of 16 - be at the feeding area in our Madagascar exhibit, dressed as a Lemur, any day at 12 noon during Lemur Week and you can help feed the Lemurs that day.
Ford RS Club Car Rally

Oxford Ford RS Owners Club will be holding there bi-yearly show this year on 24th june. The RS cars will range from the MK1 Escorts up to today’s focus so no matter if your interest are the historic mexico, the all conquering RS500 or the every day use of the MK2 focus RS & added to that a nice selection of other visiting car groups you find this a fantastic show. Wild Nights at the Park

A VIP evening at the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Talks by the animal Keepers and watch some of the animals being fed. Pimms and soft drinks served on the Manor House terrace. Watch the sunset, with the Rhinos. Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. Adults £25 Children and Seniors £20. Season ticket holders: Adults £20, Children and Seniors £15. Limited number of tickets.
