Anglian Water Education

Experience the sights, sounds and smells of our Sewage Treatment works with Anglian Water's award winning Education program.

Free interactive sessions including a guided tour of the site, a look into the hidden world of micro-organisms, a chance to use filtration to clean dirty water, discover if you are water efficient at home and at school and you even have the opportunity to make your own sewage!

Secondary schools can explore a real life situation, by playing the Water Supply Challenge. Teams must design, build and test a water supply network, simulating a real life engineering project.

Fantastic trip - packed full of information and very well organised. All children thoroughly enjoyed learning about water in addition to their geography and science lessons.

We had a lovely day out, the children enjoyed the visit which was aimed at just the right level, the visit length was appropriate to keep them interested all day.
