There are three meeting rooms, each of which can seat 25 people and a large meeting room that can seat 120. There is a TV and DVD player as well as a table tennis table. The Centre, which has a full time manager, is self catering and self organising and has a large well equipped kitchen and dining room.
The Centre is situated in a large area of parkland which is ideal for outdoor activities and where there is a small football pitch and a camp fire circle. The swimming pool is open air, summer only.
The Blue Peter Log Cabin, donated by Blue Peter TV sleeps 14 on a self catering basis and forms an important part of the Recreation Centre.
The Centre, which is owned and managed by The Salvation Army and is a teetotal establishment, is ideal for meetings, retreats, training and holidays. More strenuous activities can by arranged by local providers.
We are 45 minutes by train to Waterloo Station in central London. The local station is Hampton on the Waterloo to Shepperton line. Trains are half hourly. Hampton station is a 20 minute walk or can by reached by the local bus, every 20 minutes.
Other local places of interest include Hampton Court, Windsor, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Legoland, Brooklands Aircraft and Motor Museam, Mercedes World, Heathrow Visitors Centre, Twickenham rugby ground and Museum, Wembley Stadium, Kempton Park and Sandown Park race courses.
Group Prices: We charge £430 inc VAT per accomm. block per night. The more people in each block the cheaper it is per person. This includes use of all facilities.
