Green Gables Hotel provides comfortable accommodation for all types of children’s groups. Located in Scarborough and near many other wonderful attractions within North Yorkshire. We offer full board accommodation with a popular self serve packed lunch system, a heated indoor swimming pool and a games room.
With a long history and years of experience providing accommodation to educational groups all year round we are a perfect base to relax after a long day. We can offer accommodation for groups up to 140 in size, full board including 3 course evening meal, traditional English breakfast and a packed lunch. Each group has their own lounge and full use of the hotel facilities which include a heated indoor swimming pool, games room with a pool table, table tennis tables and table football.
Children normally share 3 to 4 per room while staff sleep in separate rooms with private facilities, all major diets catered for. Situated in a quiet part of town adjacent to a public park and the South bay is a pleasant 25 minute walk away. Full risk assessments are available on request.
Scarborough town centre is 20 minutes walk away with its traditional appeal also we have Scarborough Castle and the famous Stephen Joseph Theatre. There is a Sea-Life Centre and Dalby Forest is not too far away with a steam train railway across the north York’s moors that takes you to Goathland, the home of heartbeat. Whitby is 20 miles away and less than an hour’s drive away you arrive at York with its historic Minster and the fantastic Jorvik centre.
