Flat Holm has two dormitories based in the Farmhouse, which can accommodate 10 and 12 children respectively. Bunk beds are provided along with a pillow, pillowcase, a sheet, and blanket. All individuals need to bring a sleeping bag. There is a Teachers Room which can sleep 2 adults. There may be opportunities to cater for more people upon request. To address our visitor demands we are also offering camping in the grounds of the farmhouse paddocks when possible. Camping will only be available when the dormitory accommodation is fully booked. Tents are not provided.
The Farmhouse has a fully equipped kitchen with cutlery, crockery, saucepans, tea towels, toaster, microwave, 6 ringed gas hob, oven, fridge and freezer. We are able to recommend external caterers if required.
We have both male and female shower/washrooms and toilets in the Farmhouse and a drying room to dry outdoor coats, boots and shoes.
The main room in the Farmhouse is equipped with chairs and tables for use as a dining area and also for activities in the evening. There are picnic benches outside the front of the Farmhouse if you prefer to eat outdoors. A large fixed barbeque is available in the garden area for use, however charcoal is not provided.
A snack and souvenir shop is located in the Victorian Barracks and is opened during day visits and during the evening for residential groups.
